Chicken, Oat & Veg Traybake Bites

Affordable homemade chicken, oat and vegetable dog treats using leftovers. Simple traybake recipe with storage tips and feeding guidance.

Ingredients

  • Cooked chicken (plain): 100 g

  • Cooked vegetables (carrot, peas, broccoli stalk): 100 g

  • Rolled oats: 75 g

  • Egg (whole, beaten): 50 g (approx. 1 medium egg)

Method

Preheat oven to 170°C / 150°C fan.

  1. Finely chop chicken and vegetables.

  2. Mix all ingredients thoroughly.

  3. Press into a lined shallow baking tray.

  4. Bake for 25–30 minutes until firm.

  5. Cool completely and cut into pea–bean sized cubes.
